With just a month left for the exam, candidates are required to make the most out of this time to prepare at their best, in order to reach their dream destination. As time is running fast, the first thing you need to do is to plan a proper strategy to make your preparation a success story. To help aspirants in their last month preparation, here we are providing - ‘AIIMS preparation strategy’ to plan a proper study schedule. Read this article carefully and stay one step closer to your AIIMS 2019 goal.

AIIMS preparation strategy for the last month

While planning the AIIMS preparation strategy, candidates should keep 3 important points in mind – available time, syllabus and self-assessment. Along with a proper study schedule for revising the entire syllabus meticulously, candidates must practice solving questions for self-assessment and check their readiness for the exam.
  1. Make a Preparation Schedule:

Prepare a time-table for the last month preparation of AIIMS 2019 exam. Divide the entire month subject-wise giving priority to important chapters and topics. Follow the time-table religiously and devote around 11-12 hours daily in your preparation.
  • Choose the best study material: Since time is a major constrain, it is always advised to revise from NCERT textbooks as these books cover all the basic concepts in a very precise manner. Apparently, AIIMS and NEET exam questions are framed nearly from NCERT books. Hence, solve questions framed from each and every line given in NCERT textbooks. For this refer to MTG’s Objective NCERT at your fingertips, the most recommended book from all-quarters, be it toppers or teaching faculty.
  • Be productive, revise important topics: AIIMS syllabus is very vast and to complete your revision within one month, you need to do a selective study. You are required to do a subject-wise analysis from previous years’ papers to find out the important topics from each chapter.  Here is the list of some of the most important topics from AIIMS syllabus from where most of the questions are being asked in the previous years’ papers:

Refer to MTG’s 25 Years AIIMS Chapterwise series which offers the most authentic AIIMS questions from last 25 years (1994-2018), presented in chapterwise arrangement to give a clear idea regarding chapter weightage. Moreover, it will help you to list out important diagrams, flow charts and mind maps based on which questions are being asked in AIIMS exam.

  • Solve Assertion-Reason based questions: AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam will consist of 200 objective type questions. This includes of 60 questions (40 MCQ’s + 20 A&R questions) from each Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with 10 MCQ’s on Aptitude & Logical thinking and 10 from General Knowledge. Solving Assertion & Reason type of questions requires an in-depth knowledge of various concepts. Therefore, it is important to revise the important topics from which such questions are being asked previously. To help you prepare at the root-level, you are advised to practice from MTG’s Assertion & Reason book series for AIIMS. MTG’s Assertion & Reason Chapterwise book is divided in chapter-wise manner with Practice questions followed by previous year questions and at the end explanations of both.

FREE AIIMS Assertion & Reason Questions: Take A&R Quiz and clear AIIMS exam with ease

2. Solve Previous Years’ Papers:

The ultimate approach to score high in any exam is to solve previous years’ papers To gain overview of the exam to prepare accordingly, practicing these papers not just help in boosting confidence before the exam but also aids in learning proper time management during the exam.

 3. Take mock test online:

Attempting Mock tests is the best way to revise and understand your preparedness for the exam. Mock tests not only allow you to test your strength and weak areas of the syllabus but also help to maintain speed during the exam.

Apart from all these, we also recommend you to read MTG’s Monthly Magazines . These magazines come with crisp representation of all the vital topics and also have separate sections designed as per the needs of competitive exams like AIIMS, NEET, etc.

We hope that the given article helps you in your last month preparation for the upcoming AIIMS exam. Prepare at your best with the help of this AIIMS preparation strategy to score high and accomplish your dream. Last but not the least, stay calm, eat properly and sleep well for attaining better concentration during exam preparation. We wish you - All the Best!
